When he was 6 he joined the Academy at the age of 12 He Completed the Genin exams and was Graduated to a Genin!
After 2 Years Of training He joined the Chuunin exams!The First part went easily but the second one went a little bad,Because Shikamaru broke his arm by fighting grass ninjas!After the team completed the 2 exam.The 3 Exam started and Shikamaru had to fight Versus a Sunagakure Ninja!He won the Fight and Was Graduated to a Chunin.(I hope I did all right)

Name:Kage Kubi Shibari no Jutsu - Shadow Neck Bind Technique

Description: Kage Kubi Shibari no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique developed by the Nara clan. To perform the technique the clan member will first bind their target using the Kage Mane no Jutsu technique. Once the target can no longer move, they form the needed hand seal to initiate this technique. The clan member uses their shadow to form a hand which will creep up their opponents body to their neck. Once the hand reaches the neck, it will constrict in such a manner so as to strangle the opponent. However, the clan member will need to be careful. If their target has a lot of chakra, they can turn back the shadow hand and prevent it from binding their neck.

Description:Kage Mane no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique developed by the Nara clan. It's original purpose was as a skill to help delay any pursuers. After forming the needed hand seals, the clan member is able to manipulate their shadow along any surface. By using other nearby shadows they can further extend the reach of their shadow, however they are limited to the surface area of the original cast shadow. Once the clan members shadow reaches the target shadow, it will attach itself. While attached the target will be frozen, only able to replicate in mirror form the actions of the clan member. If the clan member is low on chakra, the Kage Mane will falter and the shadow will return to its normal form.

Description:Ninpou: Kage Nui is a Ninjutsu technique developed by the Nara clan. To perform the technique Shikamaru will first form the needed handseal to extend his shadow. Shikamaru will then change the handseal to cause the shadow to emerge from the ground in tendrils. The tendrils can extend and whip about and are strong enough to pierce nearby targets.

Description: Kage Yose no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique developed by the Nara clan. This technique uses the Kage Nui threads to extend from a Kage Kubi Shibari bound on the body. These threads can then pull an object back towards the one bound. In this case, the shadow thread was used to pull in wire and explosive tags which were surrounding the target. The Kage Nui then sewed the wire into the target, binding them with the wire and lacing them with explosive tags.
History:
Though Shikamaru appears a young man bored with life and his job as ninja, he holds a firm respect for his job and his duty to protect his friends and teammates. And though he is lazy and had low grades at the Ninja Academy, Shikamaru is highly intelligent with an I.Q. of over 200. A young age he became friends with Akimichi Chouji, and their friendship would extend later into life as teammates in Team 10 under their Jounin sensei Sarutobi Asuma. Shikamaru would rather relax and look at the clouds, than expend any energy doing school work. His general desire is to make a good living and be able to retire, successful and happy with himself.
Shikamaru studied under his father Nara Shikaku and learned many of the kage (shadow) manipulation jutsu. As the years passed, Shikamaru has added many shadow attack variations to his arsenal. Shikamaru's mother wanted the best for her son and pestered him constantly, which led him to be cynical of women and their supposed bossiness. His troubles with women would extend to many of the battles he faced, having to combat Tsuchi Kin, Temari and Tayuya. His testy relationship with Temari would extend over the years, with the two ninja becoming friends. Though Naruto would accuse the two of being something more than friends, both Shikamaru and Temari would deny such a relationship.
Alongside his team Shikamaru participated in the Chuunin Exam. After the third test preliminaries and the final third test itself, he was the only one to be acknowledged as worthy Chuunin material. From this point on he was able to don the Chuunin flak jacket with honor. Though the mission to return Sasuke failed and Shikamaru felt horrible for the near deaths of his team, the words of Temari and his father helped him realize that if he stopped being a ninja, someone else would have to look out for his friends instead. This caused him to reevaluate his feelings and reaffirm his desire to become a better ninja.
Over the next years Shikamaru would further develop his skills and be selected as a Chuunin Examiner when the exam returned to Konoha. Alongside Sand kunoichi Temari who acted as an advisor, they would begin preparations for the new exam.
Roleplay Sample:Shikamaru walks around the village and finaly gets why he came out of his house,he walks back to the house and grabs his money adn heads back out!
